Total 24-fake Universities in Indian

University Grants Commission (UGC) has published a list of 24 Fake Universities through Public Notice. Students and Public have been requested not to be admitted in all these Fake Universities. Details of these Fake Universities are given below-

University Grants Commission (UGC) নিম্নে উল্লিখিত 24-টি নকল Fake University-এর তালিকা প্রকাশ করলো। আসলে সময়ের গতিতে তাল মিলিয়ে দ্রুত ডিগ্রী অর্জনের মোহ যত মানুষকে তাড়িত করছে, সেই সুযোগ নিয়ে একদল অসাধু 'ব্যবসায়ী' শিক্ষাকে পণ্য করে বিক্রির খেলায় মেতে উঠেছে। কম সময়ে কম অর্থব্যয়ে ডিগ্রী (পণ্য) অর্জনের খেলায় শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক ও ব্যবসায়ীদের যৌথ প্রয়াস দেশের শিক্ষাব্যবস্থায় বড় আঘাত দিয়েছে।বিগত কয়েক বছরে "দূরশিক্ষা"-র নাম নিয়ে উচ্চশিক্ষাকে পন্যীকরণের তীব্র প্রচেষ্টা যার প্রমাণ এখনও জারি  রয়েছে । এখন আবার fake উচ্চশিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের রমরমা। সম্প্রতি University Grants Commission (UGC) NAD-এর মাধ্যমে উচ্চশিক্ষাসংক্রান্ত শংসাপত্র জালিয়াতি আটকানোর চেষ্টা করেছে।

Public Notice on Fake Universities

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 under Section 22(1) provide that only a University (বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) established by a Central, State/ Provincial Act or an institution deemed to be university under section 3 or an institution especially empowered by an Act Parliament to confer University Grants Commission specified degrees under section 22(3) of the Act.

Further, section 23 of the University Grants Commission Act prohibits the use of word "University" by any institutions other than a university established as stated above. Therefore, students (পড়ুয়া) and public at large are hereby informed that such 24 self-styled, unrecognized (অ-স্বীকৃত) institutions functioning in contravention of the University Grants Commission Act have been declared as fake (ভুয়ো) and not entitled to confer any degree. Students and public at large are hereby informed that at present following 24 Self-styled, unrecognized institutions (প্রতিষ্ঠান) are functioning in contravention of the University Grants Commission Act in various parts of the country.
