Submission of vacancy of Headmaster/Headmistress of Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools

In has come to the notice of the undersigned that the there are some schools where the post of Headmaster has become (শূন্যপদ) vacant but the concerned school authorities are yet to submit the vacancy fill-up proposal of the post of Headmaster in the prescribed format to the office of the undersigned and as a result all these schools are still running by Teacher in Charge. This is highly illegal from administrative us well as academic point of view.

In terms of DSE, WB's memo no 1467(20) GA dated 29.06.2006, it is directed to take stern action against those School Authorities who are not willing to take Headmaster/Headmistress from School Service Commission by stopping GA of the concerned schools immediately with an intimation to the Directorate.

Hence, all Teacher in Charge are requested to submit the vacancy fill up proposal of the post of Headmaster/Headmistress in the prescribed format within 10 days otherwise the undersigned will be compelled to take stern action in terms of DSE, WB's memo dated 29.06.2006 without further intimation.

Again, this is to request that if vacancy in the post of Headmaster/Headmistress occurs in any school, vacancy fill up proposal of the same must be submitted to the office of the undersigned within one month from the date of occurrence and if there is any litigation that must be communicated within the same duration.
