Uses of Peacock Card

The State Government has determined the desired learning outcomes of each Class, Subject and Chapter from Class V to VIII. They should be posted in the form of posters inside and outside the class. If any student gets D at all. However, his family or well-wishers may want to know the reasons for the failure of the Right to Education Act and it may go to court. In that case Peacock Card is the only protection.

Responsibility of teachers in Peacock Card

The Department of Education has reported that Headmaster/Headmistress students have used Peacock Card while completing District Inspector of Schools (SE). So this responsibility will indirectly put pressure on the teachers, if necessary, the picture of Peacock Card may also have to be sent.

At any time, there is no doubt that the school inspection team appointed by the Department of Education will come and check the Peacock Card and Teachers Dairy of the students. So these issues are very important.

Peacock Card Making Rules

Peacock Card should be made according to the student of the class that a teacher takes, the subject that he takes The teacher has to give the number to each student per month according to the number of the indicator. Numbers must be given between 10 of the first Formative of Class-V and 20 of all other classes. Students will be assessed once per month. Next month I will have to take another Peacock Card-A. You have to give the number in it again. Thus, the participation of three Peacock Card-A in 3-months, leadership, questioning, etc. must be averaged, i.e. the average of 3-month participation, the average Peacock Card-B card participation, leadership will sit in Part. Give the B-Peacock Card with 3-month average number to the Subject Teacher, Class Teacher. Class Teacher will collect Peacock Card-B from all the subjects taught in that class. Now the Class Teacher will average the participation of all the subjects and place it in Formative-I of the mark sheet.

For example, in Class VII, 8 Subject 8 teachers took classes with the game. 8 Peacock Card - 3 Peacock Card - A Card Average Peacock Card- B Card A-Class 8 Teacher Peacock Card- B Card for the first Formative will get 8 Peacock Card- B Card from 8-Subject Teacher. Each of its participation, leadership, etc. should be averaged in the Marksheet.

It is often seen that in Class-VII, 2 students teach Bengali and 2 students teach English. In that case Subject Teacher is 10. Each one will take Peacock Card-A separately and put it in Peacock Card-B and submit it to the Class Teacher. In this case Class Teacher will get 10 Peacock Card-B. In this case, the class teacher has to average 10 Peacock Card-B cards.

এই পর্যায়ে নানারকমের আলোচনা, প্রশ্ন, বিভিন্ন সক্রিয়তা, আলোকচিত্র  প্রর্দশনের মাধ্যমে বিষয়ের সঙ্গে শিক্ষার্থীদের মানসিক সংযোগ ঘটানো যায়। শিক্ষার্থীদের পূর্বার্জিত শিখন অভিজ্ঞতার সঙ্গে বর্তমান শিখন অভিজ্ঞতার সম্পর্কস্থাপন এই পর্যায়ের বৈশিষ্ট্য।এই উদ্দেশ্যে নিম্নলিখিত প্রশ্নগুলি উসকে দিয়ে বিষয়ের অভিমুখ স্থির করা যেতে পারে -তোমারা ধানগাছ দেখেছ ? কেমন দেখতে ? বছরের কোন সময় ধান রোয়া হয় ? বছরের কোন সময় ধান কাটা হয় ?

 অনুসন্ধান করা (Exploration)
এই পর্যায়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের বিষয়ের নিযুক্ত করে নিজস্ব ধারণা গঠনের সুযোগ করে দেওয়া হয়। দলগতভাবে কাজ ও পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতায় শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে সাধারণ কিছু অভিজ্ঞতা গড়ে ওঠে। এই পর্যায়ে শিক্ষক /শিক্ষিকা শিক্ষার্থীদের অনুসন্ধান প্রক্রিয়া এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে সাহায্য (facilitate) করেন। যেমন -ধান রোয়া থেকে কাটা পর্যন্ত কাজ কী কী ধাপে হয় ? বছরের কোন সময় সেগুলো করা হয় ? নিচের ছকে সেগুলো লেখো :

ব্যাখ্যা করা 
(Explanation)

এই পর্যায়ে শিক্ষার্থীরা অর্জিত জ্ঞান প্রয়োগ করে বিষয় সম্পর্কিত অন্যান্য ধারণা গুলির মধ্যে সম্পর্কস্থাপনে সচেষ্ট হয়। নানা ধরণের সক্রিয়তার মাধ্যমে  শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের নতুন ধারণাগুলি প্রয়োগের সুযোগ পায়। যেমন-হাতে ধান কাটা ও মেশিনে ধান কাটার মধ্যে কোনটা সহজ ও কেন সহজ বলে তোমার মনে হয় ?

(ii) প্রশ্ন করা ও অনুসন্ধানে আগ্রহ

বিস্তৃত করা (Elaboration) 
পাওয়ার টিলার ও হারভেস্টার কীভাবে ধান উৎপাদনের কাজে লাগে ? -এই জাতীয় প্রশ্নের উত্তর শিক্ষার্থীরা দলে আলোচনা করতে পারে। কোনো বিষয়ে যার প্রত্যক্ষ ধারণা নেই, অন্যান্যদের সঙ্গে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে তারও সেই বিষয়ে ধারণা গড়ে উঠবে।

মূল্যায়ন (Evaluation) 
মূল্যায়ন একটি নিরবচ্ছিন্ন পদ্ধতি। এই পর্যায়ে শিক্ষক /শিক্ষিকা শিক্ষার্থীদের আলোচ্য বিষয় সম্পর্কিত জ্ঞানগঠন ঠিক হয়েছে কী না, তা যাচাই করার সুযোগ পান। তবে এক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ গুরুত্বপুর্ণ বিষয় হল যে সবকটি পর্যায়েই মূল্যায়ন করা যেতে পারে। ধান উৎপাদনে মানুষের কোন কোন কাজ এখন যন্ত্র দিয়ে করা হয় ? তাতে ধান উৎপাদনে কী কী প্রভাব পড়ে ?
(i) ব্যাখ্যা ও প্রয়োগের সামর্থ্য  

Importance of Peacock Card

  • Many people think that Peacock Card- B card is a copy of the Formative part of the Marksheet. In other words, the average Peacock Card-A card of all the subjects will sit on the Peacock Card-B card, and that will rise in the Formative part of the Marksheet. This is not correct. All the subjects will have separate Peacock Card-B cards. The average of them will sit in the Marksheet.
  • Work Education and Sports Peacock Card is a must.
  • The average of 3-month Peacock Card- B cards will rise to a Formative. Three Formative 3-Month Total 9-Month. The remaining 3-months include leave-65 and other test day shots. The last 3-month assessment will be closed.
  • If more than one teacher teaches a subject in the same class, it is reasonable to make a Peacock Card-B by averaging all of them. In this case, it is recommended that every Subject Teacher should have Peacock Card-A and Peacock Card-B.
      
    • If a teacher teaches more than one subject in a class, he can create separate Peacock Cards for a maximum of two subjects.

A : সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে ও নেতৃত্বদানের গুণাবলি আছে। 
B : আদানপ্রদানের মাধ্যমে সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করছে। 
C : অংশগ্রহণ করছে কিন্তু আদানপ্রদানে আগ্রহ কম। 
D : অংশগ্রহনের স্বল্প উৎসাহী। 
 Indicator 2: Questioning and Experimentation (প্রশ্ন করা ও অনুসন্ধানে আগ্রহ )

A :শিখন সহায়ক প্রশ্ন করতে সক্ষম ও অনুসন্ধানে আগ্রহী।
B : শিখন সহায়ক প্রশ্নে সক্ষম কিন্তু অনুসন্ধানে আগ্রহী নয়। 
C : শিখন সহায়ক প্রশ্ন করে না কিন্তু অনুসন্ধানে আগ্রহী। 
D : প্রশ্ন করে কিন্তু তা শিখন বা শিখন সম্পর্কিত অনুসন্ধানে সহায়ক নয়। 
Indicator 3: Interpretation and Application (ব্যাখ্যা ও প্রয়োগের সামর্থ্য )

A : সংশ্লিষ্ট ধারণার উদাহরণের সাহায্যে ব্যাখ্যা ও প্রয়োগ সমর্থ। 
B : সংশ্লিষ্ট ধারণার উদাহরণের সাহায্যে ব্যাখ্যা করতে সমর্থ কিন্তু প্রয়োগে অক্ষম। 
C : সংশ্লিষ্ট ধারণার আংশিক ব্যাখ্যা করতে সমর্থ কিন্তু প্রয়োগে অক্ষম। 
D : সংশ্লিষ্ট ধারণা কেবল মুখস্থ করছে। 
Indicator 4: Empathy and Cooperation (সমানুভুতি ও সহযোগিতা )

A :পরিচিত ও অপরিচিত উভয়ের জন্যই সক্রিয়ভাবে সমানুভুতিশীল।
B : পরিচিতের জন্য সক্রিয়ভাবে সমানুভুতিশীল কিন্তু অপরিচিতের জন্য শুধুই সমানুভুতিশীল।
C : পরিচিতের জন্য সমানুভুতিশীল। 
D : সমানুভুতির প্রকাশ কম।

Assignment of Class Teacher or Subject Teacher for ECA :2024

It is informed that the provision for CCE marks entry in respect of the academic year 2024 is available in SMS Portal. All concerned may be informed to complete the marks entry process for Formative and Summative Evaluation-I.

1. Head of the Institutions (HOI) /School user can assign any Assistant Teacher as Class Teacher or Subject Teacher for respective Medium, Class, Section and Subject for CCE Marks Entry (Evaluation wise)
2. Head of the Institutions (HOI)/School user may also enter CCE Marks for irrespective of any Medium/ Class/ Section/ Subject.
3. Any teacher may enter CCE Marks only if assignment accordingly.
4. Class Teacher may enter marks for all subjects in respect of a particular Class/Section.
5. If Subject teacher option is applicable, the concerned Subject Teacher will only be able to submit marks for the specific Subject for the specific Medium/Class/Section.

Formative Evaluation

1. Class and Subject wise Formative marks entry is mandatory
2. Concerned teacher would be allowed to enter marks for the next evaluation, if previous evaluation related marks entry is completed.
3. Subject Teacher would be able to enter marks for respective assigned class, section and subjects.
4. Class Teacher would be able to enter marks for all subjects for the respective assigned class and sections.

Summative Evaluation

1. Only after completion the Formative marks entry, any teacher can proceed for Summative Evaluation related marks entry.
2. Only after completion of marks entry in respect of the previous evaluation, any teacher can proceed for the next Evaluation (for all subjects).
3. Class Teacher would be able to enter marks for all subjects for the respective assigned class and sections.

CCE Marks Entry through Bulk (Excel) Upload

1. Head of the Institutions (HOI), School and Class Teacher are only allowed to Export and upload the CCE marks at bulk through Excel files.
2. If the school has multiple third languages for classes VII and VIII, for any student one of those languages will be assigned for marks entry & the other third languages will have “-2” in marks entry boxes in Excel.
3. If the school has multiple optional or elective subjects for classes IX and X, for any student one of those subjects will be assigned for marks entry and the other optional or elective subjects will have “-2” in marks entry boxes in Excel.
4. For summative marks entry through Excel, at first by default all students will be set as absent & their marks in the sheet will be set as “-1”.
5. Excel File may be named with alpha-numeric characters (use only 0-9, A-Z, a-z ).
