User Manual and software setup for DSC Registration Procedure

DSC best run on Mozilla Firefox version 39 (to off Auto update, go to Tools > Option > Update > Never check Update)
Instruction for Java setup for e-pension
  • Open system 'Control Panel' > click here to proceed
In security part if the same window is not populated then no need to setup this part
  • Step-1: Go to Security
  • Step-2: Edit Site List..
  • Step-3: Add 
  • Step-4: Add e-Pension URL (Example: https://wbepension.gov.in/e_pension/)
  • Step-5: Ok

After Java setup for your system then go to login page
 Other than Application Login
Instructions
1. All fields are mandatory 
2. User ID, Password and Captcha are case sensitive
3. If you forget your password then click on forget password to get OPT on your registered mobile number and reset your password.

Click on Sub menu 'DSC Registration' under 'User Management

Click on the check box against 'Do you want to register your DSC ?'

Click on the check box against 'Fist read the instruction.'

Page No. 4
System will display statutory Instructions for DSC.
Choose radio button Yes or No against 'Have you understood the Instruction properly ?'
  • Click 'Yes' to proceed
Page No. 5
The screen will display the Java Security Alert.
Click on the check box against 'I accept the risk and want to run the application'
  • Click on 'Run' to proceed
Page No.6
Click on 'Read Card'.

Page No. 7
System will display certificate information.
Click on 'Validate' to proceed.

Page No. 8
System will display 'e-Token Name.'
User has to enter Password in the relevant field.
  • Click on 'OK' to proceed

Instructions for the SI (PE)

1. Click on check box against 'If you read the card then click on the check box to complete the whole process' and then click on 'Next'.

2. System will show the success message.

After completed DSC registration the go to Login Page

Other than Application Login
Instructions
1. All fields are mandatory

3. If you forget your password then click on forget password to get OPT on your registered mobile number and reset your password.

(i) Select the 'Validate your DSC' menu under 'User Management'.
(ii) The system will ask permission to run Java. The user needs to click on the 'Allow Now' button.
(iii) The screen will display the Java Security Alert.
Click on the check box against 'I accept the risk and want to run the application'.
(iv) The screen will display the 'Red Card' button and user needs click on it to validate the Dongle.
(v) The certificate information will be displayed on the screen.
Click on 'Validate' to proceed
(vi)The user needs to enter the password and click on 'OK'
(vii) System will show the success message.
(viii) Select sub menu 'OTP Generation' under 'User Management'
(ix) Click on the check box against 'Want to get OTP for this session'.
(x) System will display the processing message, do not close the window/refresh the page.
(xi) User need to enter the OTP in the relevant space which has been sent on this registered Mobile number.
(xii) System will display the success message.

Instruction for the Requesting Authorities

  • Click on sub menu 'OTP' Period Extension Request' under 'User Management.'
  • User needs to enter the 'Reason' in the given box.
  • System will ask for confirmation.
