Whereas the Shishu Siksha Kendras (SSKs) and Madhyamik Siksha Kendras (MSKs) are being run by the Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission (PBRSSM) under the Panchayat & Rural Development Department (P&RD Deptt).
Whereas the Government of West Bengal has accorded approval for transferring the administrative control of SSKs and MSKs to the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
It is hereby informed that the Administrative Control of Shishu Siksha Kendras (SSKs) and Madhyamik Siksha Kendras (MSKs), the entire administrative set up and human resources of Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission will be transferred from the Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal to the School Educastion Department, Government of West Bengal with effect from 01.12.2020.

Whereas the SSKs and MSKs are run by the Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission (PBRSSM) under Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal.
And whereas, for better administrative purpose, it has been decided to transfer the administrative control of SSKs and MSKs, the entire administrative set up and human resources of Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department to the School Education Department;
Now, after careful consideration of the matter it has been decided that:
1.The whole society of Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission, headed by the Mission Director along with all its assets and liabilities pertaining to Paschim Banga Rajya Shishu Shiksha Mission shall be brought under School Education Department, Government of West Bengal including its human resources deputed or engaged at state, district and Sub-division level, with effect from 01.04.2020.
2. The Sahayaks /Sahayikas and Mukhya Sahayaks/Mukhya Sahayikas of SSKs, Samprasaraks/Samprasarikas and Mukhya Samprasaraks/ Mukhya Samprasarikas of MSKs who are within the age of 60 (Sixty) years on the date 01.04.2020 shall be required to give their option in the format annexed herein, by 5:00 pm of 01.02.2020 to Mission Director of PBRSSM through the District Nodal Officer, SSK/MSK of the concerned district, for treating them at par with the Para-teachers of Paschim Banga Samagra Shiksha Mission under School Education Department, Government of West Bengal and engage them with similar terms and conditions as that of Para-teachers, to get similar benefits extended to the Para-teachers.
3. Those Sahayaka/Sahayikas and Mukhya Sahayaks/ Mukhya Sahayikas of SSKs, Samprasaraks/Samprasarikas and Mukhya Samprasaraks/ Mukhya Samprasarikas of MSKs who do not submit such option as mentioned above in para 2, shall not be considered for treating them at par with the Para-teachers and not be considered for any additional benefits as enjoyed by the Para-teachers now or in future.
4. This is issued in concurrence of the Finance Department U.O No Group-B/2019-2020/0041 dated 01.11.2019.
