It is notified for all concerned that a list of teaching / non-teaching staff of Government aided/sponsored schools who prayed for
Mutual Transfer under the
West Bengal School Service Commission (
Mutual Transfer) Rules, 2012 and such prayer have been allowed and necessary recommendations for
transfer have been issued by the West Bengal School Service Commission, is being published in the Website of the Commission with the intimation that the concerned
transfer seekers may download the recommendation for
transfer from the Commission's Website (
www.westbengalssc.com). In case of any mistake/omission etc. all are requested to contact the Commission through e-mail in the address:
wbssctransfer@gmail.com. The Recommendation letters may be downloaded from 20.10.2020.

In pursuance with Memo No. 186-SE/S/8B-06/2019 dated 10.02.2020, I being the appointing authority, make the following transfers on mutual ground upon the recommendation of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.
All School Managing Committee /Ad-hoc Committee/Administrator (In case of Headmaster/ Headmistress) and all Headmaster/Headmistress/Teacher in Charge (In case of Assistant and non-teaching post) are requested to allow release/joining respectively in view of amendments of the Rules for management of Non-Government Institutions (Aided and Unaided) 1969, Rules 28(A)(a) & 28(c)(a) and amendments of the Rules for Management of Sponsored Institutions (Secondary) Rules 1972, Rule 23(a) and 23A(a).
Concerned District Inspector of Schools (D.Is)/ Additional District Inspector of Schools (A.D.Is) shall look into the matter and ensure smooth release and joining of teachers as specified in the recommendation. They shall also approve the joining of all who had joined in the meantime.

1. Who can apply for online Mutual Transfer ?
Answer: Any permanent Secondary Assistant Teacher/Headmaster/Headmistress except those in primary section and who have not yet availed any type of transfer in his/her service life, is eligible to apply.
2. Where to receive OTP (One Time Password) for log in ? Answer: OTP will be sent only the email and registered mobile of an employee. If email address is not included in profile, update it from respective HOI log in.
3. Can a teacher update his/her Mobile No.?
Answer: To update
Mobile her/his mobile no, a teacher can approach respective HOI. It is available under Master Directory Management -> Edit Employee Profile After Finalization Menu option in iosms (salary) portal.
4. Can a teacher of Normal Section apply in HS Section ?
Answer: No Mutual Transfer can only be applied within same Academic Section i.e. Normal Section to Normal Section and HS Section to HS Section.
5. Can a female teacher apply in Boy's School ?
Answer: Yes, A female teacher can apply in Boy's school. She is entitled to apply for Girls', Boys' & Co-Ed Schools but A male is entitled to apply for Boys' and Co-Ed School only.
6. How many district can be chosen for initiating Mutual Transfer as preferred choice ?
Answer: An applicant can choose up to four (4) district for initiating Mutual Transfer as his/ her preferred choice.
7. Does an applicant have to pay any fees for applying online Mutual Transfer ?
Answer: No. It require no application fees to apply for online Mutual Transfer.
8. Can a teacher of one subject apply Mutual Transfer for another subject ?
Answer: No. A teacher can only apply for subject, he/she is appointed for.
9. Can a teacher apply for Mutual Transfer within same district ?
Answer: Yes. A teacher can apply for online Mutual Transfer within same district and he/she can choose his /her preferred sub-Divisions.
10.Can a teacher process his/her online Mutual Transfer application through mobile device ?
Answer: Yes. Online Mutual transfer application can be easily accessed and processed through Mobile device.
