In accordance with above noted matter and reference as cited above it is for information that as on date only 128 no of schools have completed the process of data uploading at the specified site. It is not at all satisfactory. He/she is again intimated to start School Self Evaluation for the session 2020-2021 and upload the same in the web portal those who have not yet gone through the process. The web portal is now opened from this address http://shaalasiddhi.niepa.ac.in. (Ignore if done). The submission and uploading of data should be completed by 15th September, 21 without fail.
In case of upper primary schools where internet connection is not available HOI may upload their information by using internet facility of the concern CLRC.
This is very urgent.
The guideline (নির্দেশিকা) is intended to facilitate the school self-evaluation process in a sequential and guided manner.

Guideline for School Self-Evaluation
Self-Evaluation is considered as the nucleus of the school evaluation (মূল্যায়ন) process. It facilitates the school to evaluate its critical (সমালোচক) performance areas. The school needs to follow the guideline to make accurate professional judgement.
The guideline (নির্দেশিকা) is intended to facilitate the school self-evaluation process in a sequential and guided manner.
Key Questions School should reflect upon before proceeding for Self-evaluation
- How is our school currently performing ?
- What are our school strengths ?
- which are the areas requiring improvement ?
- What evidence do we have to know the current status ?
- How can we evaluation the performance of our school ?
- What measures can we take for improving our school performance ?
Objective of School Self-Evaluation
The school self-evaluation intends to-
- Prepare and empower (ক্ষমতায়ন) the school to recognize its strengths and areas of improvement in a planned and guided manner;
- Create a collaborative culture with the active participation of all stakeholders for making professional judgement and decisions;
- Facilitate the school for continuous engagement (ব্যস্ততা) and provide direction for incremental actions.
Who will do the School Self-Evaluation
School as a whole should engage (নিযুক্ত) in the self-evaluation process. All the stakeholders (অংশীদার) including Head Teacher/Principal, teachers students, parents, members of the SMC/SDMC, and members of the immediate community should participate in the self-evaluation process. During the self-evaluation process (প্রক্রিয়া) the school may consult the respective stakeholders of relevant areas to take specific decisions.
What is duration of self-evaluation process and uploading Dashboard in Web portal
Self-evaluation should be considered as a continuous process. It is most effective when it is integrated (সমন্বিত) into the day to day functioning of the school. The duration (সময়কাল) of the self-evaluation process may range from 2-6 months according to the context, size and need of the school. All the schools are expected (প্রত্যাশিত) to complete the self-evaluation process and upload the Dashboard as and when they are ready. However, all the schools need to comply with the deadline (শেষ তারিখ) for the self-evaluation process as decided by the state.
Process of School Self-Evaluation
Building preparedness (প্রস্তুতি) is an essential prerequisite of the school self-evaluation process. The school should reflect (প্রতিফলিত) and act upon the following points to prepare itself for self-evaluation process.
- The objectives of school self-evaluation and its long-term advantages (সুবিধা) for school improvement should be discussed amongst all the stakeholders;
- All members of the School should read the Framework (কাঠাম) critically and understand it in true spirit;
- The school should provide opportunities (সুযোগ) for open and frank discussion;
- The school may consult relevant and mandated (বাধ্যতামূলক) policies, government orders, etc. and the initiatives undertaken by the state;
- Transparency and objectivity should be emphasized.
