Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search 2023, JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test /Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship Examination for students studying Science in class XI in any educational institution in West Bengal after passing the Madhyamik Pariksha or equivalent 10th standard examination/equivalent CGPA with at least 75% (overall) marks.
- JBNSTS Senior Talent Search Test / Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship Examination for the students who have passed the Higher Secondary (H.S) Examination or equivalent 12th stranded examination in the Science stream, who will be studying/Admission in any of the educational institutions in West Bengal with basic Sciences (Honors / BS-MS/ Engineering / Medicine).

➤জুনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা: 2023 সালে মাধ্যমিক বা সমতুল পরীক্ষায় কমপক্ষে 75% (সামগ্ৰিকভাবে) /সমতুল্য CGPA মার্কস পেয়ে উত্তীর্ন হওয়ার পর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের যে কোন শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে একাদশ শ্রেণীতে বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে পাঠরত ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের জন্য।
➤জুনিয়র বিজ্ঞানী কন্যা মেধাবৃত্তি : শুধুমাত্র ছাত্রীদের জন্য যারা 2023 সালে মাধ্যমিক বা সমতুল পরীক্ষায় কমপক্ষে 75% (সামগ্ৰিকভাবে) /সমতুল্য CGPA মার্কস পেয়ে উত্তীর্ন হওয়ার পর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের যে কোন শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে একাদশ শ্রেণীতে বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে পাঠরতা। জুনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমেই এই নির্বাচন করা হবে।

Instructions for Application of Junior Talent Search Test (JTST) / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Briti (JBKMB) 2023
Eligible Criteria
- Students who have passed 10th Standard examination in 2023 with minimum 75% marks /equivalent GCPA (in aggregate) and currently studying in class XI in Science Stream (with at least 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science and Others) in any school in West Bengal are eligible to apply.
- Those who have passed 10th standard examination before 2023 are not eligible to apply.
- Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is only for girl students.
Please keep the following documents ready before you start your online Application
1. Scan copy of Marksheet of 10th standard Examination in jpeg / pdf format (Size: 1MB)2. Scan copy of class XI Admission Proof in jpeg / pdf format (Size: 1MB)
Fees Book/ Letter from HM/Principal/ Identity Card/ Library Card (Submit if available, otherwise you have to submit during final selection.
3. Scan copy of Admit card of 10th standard examination in jpeg / pdf format (Size: 1MB). It is not mandatory.
4. Scanned Image of your signature in jpg/jpeg format (Size: within 50 KB)
5. Your high resolution recent Passport size photograph in jpg/jpeg format (Size: within 100 KB)
You may download this photograph & upload it at the appropriate place in the application form.
Mandatory requirement for taking this Examination
- You must have a valid email ID. (One email id should be used for One applicant only). Admit card and other details of Examination will be sent to your email address (provided by you in this application form)
- You must have a valid mobile phone number. (One mobile no. should be used for One applicant only)
- Your email ID and Mobile phone number shall be required for your communication purpose.
Payment Option
- Application fee for JBNSTS Junior Talent Search / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Examination are Rs. 100/- (Respective transaction charges are applicable as per Govt. Rules)
- Online payment of application fee can be made, using the following modes :

Refund / Cancellation Policy

➤সিনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা: যে সমস্ত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা 2023 সালে উচ্চমাধ্যমিক বা সমতুল পরীক্ষায় বিজ্ঞান শাখায় উত্তীর্ন এবং মৌলিক বিজ্ঞান (সম্মানিক / বি.এস-এম.এস)/ কারিগরি বিদ্যা / চিকিৎসা বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের যে কোনও শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে স্নাতকস্তরে পাঠরত /পড়াশোনা করবে।
বিশেষ আকর্ষণ : সিনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ন প্রথম 10 জন ছাত্রী ও প্রথম 10 জন ছাত্রকে মেধাবৃত্তি ব্যাতিত Laptop দিয়ে পুরস্কৃত করা হবে।
➤সিনিয়র বিজ্ঞানী কন্যা মেধাবৃত্তি : শুধুমাত্র ছাত্রীদের জন্য, যারা 2023 সালে উচ্চমাধ্যমিক বা সমতুল পরীক্ষায় বিজ্ঞান শাখায় উত্তীর্ন এবং মৌলিক বিজ্ঞান (সম্মানিক / বি.এস-এম.এস) / কারিগরি বিদ্যা / চিকিৎসা বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের যে কোনও শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে স্নাতকস্তরে পাঠরতা / পড়াশোনা করবে। সিনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমেই এই নির্বাচন করা হবে।

Instructions for Application of Senior Talent Search Test (STST) / Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Briti (SBKMB) 2023
Eligible Criteria
- Students who have passed 10 + 2 examination in 2023 and are aspiring to study Basic Sciences (Hons.) (subjects as acceptable under the scope of DST - INSPIRE, GOI.) / BS-MS / Medicine / Engineering in West Bengal are eligible.
- Those who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination before 2023 are not eligible to apply.
- Students pursuing B.Sc. Pass course/ Diploma course/ B.Sc. Nursing course are not eligible to apply.
- Final selection of scholar shall be subject to submission (in the month of December, 2023) of their proof of admission in the 1st year U.G (Science (Hons.) / BS-MS / Engineering / Medicine) course in any institute of West Bengal.
- Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is only for girl students.
