Students of H.S. Examination. 2024 and all other concerned

This is for information of all the stakeholders that WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education) will declare the results of Higher Secondary Examination 2024 on 08.05.2024 at 01:00 pm. through a Press Conference. Students will be able to view/ download their results from the specific websites at and from 3:00 pm, which will be notified soon.

Hardcopies of the Marksheets and pass Certificates will be available from 55 distribution centres including the 04 Regional Offices of the Council all over West Bengal from 10.05.2024 at and from 10:00 a.m. 

Head of the Institutions/Teacher-in-Charges are requested to disburse the Marksheets and Certificates among their respective students on the same day i.e. on 10.05.2024 positively, since the PPS/PPR applications portal would also become active from that particular date.

Co-operation from all concerned will be highly appreciated.

Notification for Online PPR and PPS

Attention: All Heads of the Higher Secondary Institutions, Students
of Higher Secondary Examination 2024 and all other concerned

The undersigned is to notify all the above mentioned concerned that the application for online Tatkal Post Public Scrutiny (PPS) and Tatkal Post Publication Review (PPR) of answer scripts of Higher Secondary Examination 2024 will be accepted from 10.05.2024 at and from 2:00 pm to 13.05.2024 midnight and that the application for normal PPS/PPR will be accepted from 10.05.2024 at and from 2:00 pm to 25.05.2024 midnight through online portal of the Council. Candidates of Higher Secondary Examination 2024 may apply for PPS/PPR of their answer scripts within the mentioned duration. Rules and user manual of PPS /PPR are attached herewith for ready reference.

In this context, the students and guardians are advised not to apply for PPS/PPR and certified copy as per the RTI Act 2005 simultaneously for the same answer script(s) before publication for result of PPS/PPR since this might lead to complication and delay in publication of result of PPS/PPR.

Instruction for  Review and Scrutiny of Higher Secondary Examination

 Rules for Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) /Post Publication Review (PPR) of the answer script(S) 
of Higher Secondary Examination 2024

 
1. A Candidate who has appeared in Higher Secondary Examination 2024 may apply for-

(a) Normal PPS/PPR of his/her answer script(s) from 10.05.2024 at and from 2:00 pm to 25.05.2024 midnight along with the requisite fee.

(b) Tatkal PPS/PPR of his/her answer script(s) from 10.05.2024 at and from 2:00 pm to 13.05.2024 midnight along with the requisite fee.

For both the option (a) and (b) above, the candidates have to first register with the student’s portal before applying for PPS/PPR by visiting the website.

2. A candidate needs to provide an undertaking while applying for PPS/PPR on the application portal that his/her PPS/PPR application will not be processed, if he/she has applied for certified copy of answer script(s) as per RTI Act 2005 before publication of his/her PPS/PPR result and in such case(s), he/she will be provided the certified copy of the answer script(s) as per RTI application.

3. Application for PPS/PPR of answer scripts through online mode will only be accepted. No other option for submission of application will be entertained.

4. Candidates will have to write the Roll No and Mark Sheet No of Higher Secondary Examination 2024 for submission of online application.

5. Application fees for-

(a) Normal PPS is Rs.150/- per subject and for Normal PPR is Rs.200/- per subject.
(b) Tatkal PPS is Rs.600/- per subject and for Tatkal PPR is Rs.800/- per subject.

6. Application for PPR/PPS shall be restricted to theoretical papers only provided that the candidate appeared in Higher Secondary Examination 2024 in the relevant subject(s) without any report of malpractice or misconduct.

7. Application may seek PPS in all subjects, but for PPR in maximum 02 (two) subjects.

8. Application for PPR will only be allowed for the subject(s) in which PPS in not sought for.

9. An incomplete or incorrect application for PPS/PPR shall summarily be rejected by the Council and no enquiry or correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

10. No application for PPR/PPS shall be entertained beyond the specified period mentioned above under any circumstances.

11. Institution/candidate may see the result of PPS/PPR on the Council’s website after publication. The revised marks sheet/certificate (if any) has to be collected from the concerned Regional Office of the Council by the School/candidate by surrendering the previous mark sheet/certificate. The institutions will have to maintain the records of such revised marks sheet/certificate of the student.

12. The result of Normal PPS/PPR may be declared with 01 (one) month from the cutoff date of submission of application. However, the result of Tatkal PPS/PPR will be published within 07 (Seven) days from the date of receipt of online application, failing which, the excess amount of fees deposited (=Tatkal Fees – Normal Fees) by the candidate will be refunded in favour of the candidate, if applied for.

13. Candidates shall have to accept the result of PPS/PPR, as the case may be.

14. Any matter which is not described herein, to be solely decided by the Council and the decision of the Council will be the final.

Students need to sing up

Fill the necessary fields for first time registration. Enter your Registration Number, Institution Code [which was printed on the left corner of the Mark sheet] and mobile number on which OTP for registration and username after registration will be sent.

Enter your roll number and mark sheet number. And press the ‘Validate Roll No and Mark-sheet No’ Button

Education and the students of H.S. Examination.2024

This is to inform all the concerned that the Council has published the results of normal Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) of H.S. Examination 2024 on its' website: https://wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portaUdashboard_student on 11.06.2024.

All stakeholders are requested to check the result of PPS/PPR by visiting the Council website through the student login. The candidates whose marks have been found revised, they (or the representatives of the schools) should collect the revised mark-sheets and pass certificates (if applicable) from the concerned Regional Office of the Council in any working day on or after 18th June , 2024 by surrendering the previous mark-sheets and certificates.
