As directed, the Heads of all recognised Schools under WBBSE (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education) are being informed that all schools must follow the following schedule of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Summative Evaluations for the academic session 2026 and Selection Test for Madhymik Pariksha (Secondary Education) 2027. Each and every school must prepare the question papers of their own and mention the name of the Institution at the top of the Question Paper. Head of the Institutions of all the schools recognised by WBBSE are earnestly requested to mandatorily adhere to the division of syllabi, distribution of marks and model structure of sample question given in the website while framing the Summative question papers for class VI (Six) to class X (Ten). The Summative question paper should be formulated keeping the expected learning outcomes in mind. The evaluation process should thus be a tool to measure to what extent the expected learning outcome has been achieved. The Heads of the Institution of the respective schools shall remain vigilant of this matter, since any /all cases of violation if reported shall be answerable.

will be held not before 1st April 2026 and to be completed within 11th April 2026 2nd Summative Evaluation VI to X will be held not before 1st August 2026 and to be completed within 12th August 2026 3rd Summative Evaluation VI to X will be held not before 1st December 2026 and to be completed within 11th December 2026 3rd Summative Evaluation or Selection Test for M.P. (S.E.) 2027 X will be held not before 17th November 2026 and to be completed within 30th November 2026
Compliance to the aforesaid policy of the WBBSE is binding upon all schools.
N.B: No Summative Evaluation for class VI-X Selection Test for Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.) shall be scheduled on Sectional Holidays.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের বিদ্যালয় শিক্ষা বিভাগের নির্দেশিকা অনুযায়ী-
বাংলার শিক্ষা (Banglar Shiksha) ম্যানেজমেন্ট পোর্টালে 2026 শিক্ষাবর্ষের পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন বা Summative Evaluation-এর নম্বর ইনপুট করার সময়সীমা ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে নম্বর এন্ট্রি না করলে পোর্টাল লক হয়ে যাবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা ও বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষকে সময় থাকতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নিতে অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে।
