Publication of Non-Government Aided Schools' (Upper Primary, Junior High, High and Higher Secondary) Audit Allotment for the year of 2017-18 and 2018-19.

This is to inform you that the School Audit allotment for the year 2017-18 and 2018-19 will be published today on 30th July, 2019 in our School Education Department's Website (www.wbsed.gov.in). Such allotment has been made to all valid applications duly certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhavan, 7th Ananda Lal Poddar Sarani (Russal Street), Kolkata 7000 071.

Arrangement has been made to issue allotment letters to eligible CA Firms on production of original receipt's copy or Auditor's authorization letter or to the Auditor in person with identity card from Grand-in-Aid Section of the Directorate of School Education, West Bengal, Salt Lake City, Bikash Bhavan, 7th Floor, Kolkata 700 091, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm on all week days wef 19.08.2019 to 18.09.2019.

Statutory Audit of District/CLRC office, VECs/WECs, Upper Primary Schools, SSKs, MSKs and KGBVs for the year 2019-2020 (1st April, 2019 to 31st March, 2020)


The Statutory Audit for 2019-2020 will be conducted by M/S Ray & Ray, Chartered Accountants with effect from 01.12.2020 to 15.12.2020 of District Samagra Shiksha Mission office along with CLRCs, KGBVs and 1/3 of VECs/WECs, Upper Primary Schools, SSKs, MSKs and KGBVs.

The following Books and Accounts are to be kept updated and ready for Audit:
(a) Cash Book (b) Ledger (c) Bank Reconciliation Statement (d) Fund receipt/released register (e) Cheque Register (f) Fixed Asset Register (g) Authenticity of receipt/payment voucher (h) Receipt and Payment accounts for the year ended on 31st March, 2020 for each unit (i) Status of Utilization Certificate for each unit (j) Activity wise Register (k) Work Register (l) Different kind of Registers which has been issued from DPO office (m) Any information regarding Samagra Shiksha Mission matters required by the Audit Team will also to be provided. 

He is requested to intimate the 1/3 of VECs/WECs/Upper Primary Schools/SSKs and MSKs and circulate format of Statutory Audit accordingly (School list enclosed).

He is also requested to give necessary instruction to all staff to attend office under your jurisdiction on schedule date and time of audit.

All possible cooperation is to be extended to the Audit Team for successful completion of Statutory Audit Programme.
