Resolution of the Board of Discipline, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on Madhyamik Pariksha 2020, this Board of Discipline in exercise of its power under section 5(2) of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Amendment) Act 2001 here takes the decisions against all erring persons who flout the standing directives of the Board on Madhyamik Pariksha.

Written decisions of Board's Discipline for Madhyamik 2020

Whereas this Board has issued clear directive in several occasions, both verbal and the writing, against the use of Mobile phones and electronic gadgets within the examination halls of MPSE-2020;
AND
Whereas in spite of this repeated and clear instruction, the use of mobile phones are being reported in several centers;

Therefore, this Board of Discipline in exercise of its power under section 5(2) of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Amendment) Act 2001.(Examination Regulation No. 214-SE/S/10M/01/18 dated 8th. March,2018) here takes the following decisions against all erring persons who flout the standing directives of the Board on Madhyamik Pariksha;

1. Any candidate found with mobile  phone or electronic gadget inside examination hall shall forthwith be expelled from examination. He shall not take any further paper and shall be debarred from entering the venue premises thereafter by the Venue Supervisor (ভেন্যু সুপারভাইজার) and Venue in Charge. His mobile shall be seized and sent to the Board along with  his Script as RA.
2. If the candidate is found to have used his mobile for taking pictures of question paper and sending it to any other person, Officer in Charge of the main venue shall, on behalf of the Board lodge FIR in the local police station against the candidate and against all mobile number to whom the same has been sent. Police will take necessary legal action as applicable.

3. If any teaching or non-teaching staff is found to contravene the restriction of the Board and be involved in this process, he/she shall be debarred from entering the premises of the venue any further and from taking part in the examination process. Also, the disciplinary Committee of the Board, on getting conclusive report from the competent authority, shall suspend him/her forthwith and initiate DP against him/her.

4. If any Official apart from teaching/non-teaching is prima facie found to be guilty of the similar offence, he/she shall be debarred from entering the venue any further and matter will be reported to his/her disciplinary authority.
