Notification regarding Private Tuition

Submission of action taken report regarding complaint against large no. of teachers engaged in Private Tuition with respect to violation of Section 28 of RTE Act, 2009.

Ref: Letter of the Additional District Magistrate (T), North 24 Parganas bearing no. 335/SW(DN) dated 17.03.2021 in connection with-

1. File No. WB-206184/2020-21/RTE/210823  Dated: 24.03.2021 of NCPCR, New Delhi
2. File No. WB-204702/2020-21/RTE/209538  Dated: 03.03.2021 of NCPCR, New Delhi

In connection with subject mentioned above under reference above the undersigned has to inform all concerned that complaints have been filed against large no of teachers engaged in Private Tuition for their personal gain and so, the violation of Section 28 of RTE Act, 2009 is under kind consideration of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, New Delhi.

In view of the above the Head of the Institution (HOI) of concerned school is requested to submit an action taken report through Email and hard copy also to this office regarding non involvement of the staff in Private Tuition in the light of this office previous Memo No. 04/H dated 07.01.2021, 202/H dated 20.02.2020 and 563/H dated 04.11.2020 by 07 (Seven) days on receipt of this letter through mail.

A list of the school/teacher is attached herewith for ready reference and declaration has to be taken from the concerned all. After taking declaration and conducting summery enquiry a certificate stating like "Certified that the declarations from all the teaching staff have been received in connection with their non involvement in Private Tuition" has to be submitted.

Further he/she is requested to follow the guidelines of compliance regarding the issue which has also been mailed to him/her.
This is extremely urgent.

Deputation against tuition providing Teachers of Primary Schools under different District Primary School Council.

With reference to the above related to deputation against tuition providing 61 (Sixty One) Teachers of Primary Schools under different District Primary School Council, as submitted by the Secretary, Tutors' Welfare Association of India, the undersigned is diverted to request him to enquire into the matter concerned and take appropriate action in accordance with relevant rules.

He is also requested to submit an action taken report to this Directorate with supporting papers and documents accordingly.

Photocopy of the letter and list of 61 teachers, as submitted are enclosed herewith for ready reference.
