Pre-matric scholarship for OBC students

Pre-matric Scholarship for students of Class-I to X of OBC communities including Muslim OBC, This Scholarship of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD) has introduced, Pre-matric Scholarship only for the development of OBC students. All details about Pre-matric Scholarship, Scholarship Amount, Eligibility criteria, Online/Offline application (New/Renewal) and Last date of Application given below.

Aim and Eligibility for Pre-matric scholarship

Pre-matric Scholarship হলো রাজ্য-কেন্দ্র সরকারের একটি যৌথ প্রকল্প। 2017-2018 থেকে প্রকল্পটি সংশোধন করা হয়েছে।এই Scholarship এর লক্ষ্য হলো Pre-matric স্তরের OBC Student দেয় পড়াশোনার জন্য আর্থিকভাবে সহায়তা করা। এক্ষেত্রে যোগ্য Student এর পারিবারিক বার্ষিক আয় (Annual Income) Rs.2,50,000/- (উর্দ্ধসীমা/সিলিং) টাকার মধ্যে হতে হবে। Pre-matric Scholarship থেকে পাওয়া অর্থ ও Ad-hoc Grant এর পরিমান নিচে বিস্তারে দেওয়া হলো-

Day Scholars of Pre-matric Scholarship

Day Scholars বিদ্যালয়ে পাঠরত Student দের জন্য। Class-I থেকে Class-X পর্যন্ত Rs.100/- টাকা হিসাবে 10 মাসের টাকা এবং অতিরিক্ত Ad-hoc grant Rs. 500/- টাকা অর্থাৎ মোট  Rs.1,500/- per Student.

Hostellers of Pre-matric Scholarship

Hostellers হোস্টেলের অর্থাৎ ছাত্রাবাসী Student দের জন্য। Class-III থেকে Class-X পর্যন্ত Rs.500/- টাকা হিসাবে 10 মাসের টাকা এবং অতিরিক্ত Ad-hoc grant Rs. 500/- টাকা অর্থাৎ মোট Rs.5,500/- per Student.

Necessary Documents for Pre-matric Scholarship

নিম্ন লিখিত ডকুমেন্টগুলি Pre-matric Scholarship এর জন্য শিক্ষার্থীকে বিদ্যালয়ে জমা করতে হবে।

(1) Copy of OBC Certificate of the Applicant
(3) Copy of Aadhar Card
(4) Original Family Income Certificate
(5) Copy of Bank Account 
(Bank Pass Book এর প্রথম পৃষ্ঠার Photocopy/জেরক্স, যেখানে স্পষ্টভাবে উল্লেখ থাকবে Bank Name, Branch Name, Address of the Bank, Account Number, Applicant/Candidate Name এবং  Bank IFSC )


Eligibility criteria of Applicant for Pre-matric Scholarship

প্রতিবছরের মতো এবছরও পশ্চিমবঙ্গের OBC Student of Class-I to Class-X থেকে আবেদন আহ্বান করা হচ্ছে।আবেদন করতে হবে Online/Offline এর মাধ্যম। নতুন আবেদন কিংবা পুরোনো শিক্ষার্থীদের পুননবীকরণ (Renewal) এর জন্য Pre-matric Scholarship এর Official Website এ visit করতে হবে। Pre-matric Scholarship এ আবেদন করার জন্য যে যে যোগ্যতার প্রয়োজন, সেগুলো হলো-

(i) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।
(ii) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই রাজ্যের OBC সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত হতে হবে, মুসলিম OBC রাও যোগ্য।
(iii) পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সকল Day scholars এবং Hostellers রা এই Pre-matric Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
(iv) Applicant এর বার্ষিক পারিবারিক আয় অবশ্যই 2.5 (Annual Income) লাখের বেশি হবে না।
(v) আবেদনকারীর Bank Account টি অবশ্যই Nationalised Bank হতে হবে। 
(vi) আবেদনকারী একই সাথে অন্য কোনও Scholarship অথবা Stipend পাবেন না। অর্থাৎPre-matric Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করলে আর অন্যকোন  Scholarship/ Stipend এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবে না।
(vii) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই Regular Full time Student হতে হবে এবং অবশ্যই একটি সরকারী বিদ্যালয় বা সরকারী সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত বিদ্যালয় এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের সরকারী স্বীকৃত বিদ্যালয়গুলিতে পাঠরত হতে হবে।

Last Date of Application for Pre-matric Scholarship

Pre-matric Scholarship জন্য আবেদনের Online ও Offline প্রক্রিয়া আগামী 10-ই মে 2021, সন্ধ্যা 6:00 টা থেকে শুরু হয়েছে।আবেদন গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়া চালু থাকবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সকল জেলাতে। Academic session 2021-2022 এর Online Application এর শেষ তারিখটি এখনও জানানো হয়নি।


Instruction for Pre-matric Scholarship 2021-2022

Online and offline data entry are started from 10th May 2021 at 06: 00 pm for all the districts. Students belonging to Minority (সংখ্যালঘু) community including OBC (মুসলিম/Muslim) should apply for Pre-matric OBC Scholarship to either of the portal i.e this portal or wbmdfc scholarship portal.in which will facilitate speedy disbursement of Scholarship.

Hence you are requested to upload the details of the eligible students in the portal and also verify the renewal cases as early as possible.
