Sikshashree Scholarship SC/ST Students

Sikshashree Scholarship for students of Class-V to VIII of Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) communities, This Scheme/Scholarship of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD) has introduced this Scholarship only for the development of SC /ST students. All details about Sikshashree Scholarship, Scholarship Amount, Eligibility criteria, Application (Online/Offline) procedure and Last date of Application given below.

About Sikshashree Scholarship

Sikshashree Scholarship SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) সম্প্রদায়ের Class-V থেকে VIII এর ছাত্রছাত্রীদের জন্য।পশ্চিমবঙ্গের Backward Classes Welfare Department Class-V থেকে VIII পর্যন্ত SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) শিক্ষার্থীদের উন্নয়নের জন্য এই Sikshashree Scholarship চালু করেছে। এই Scholarship টি মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর একটি প্রধান প্রকল্প।কেবলমাত্র SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) শিক্ষার্থীরাই এই Scholarship /স্কিমের সুবিধা পাবে।

মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর প্রধান এই প্রকল্পটি Backward Classes Welfare Department কেবলমাত্র SC/ST শিক্ষার্থীদের উন্নয়নের জন্য এই Scholarship টি চালু করেছে।


Aims of Sikshashree Scholarship

Sikshashree Scholarship এর প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য/লক্ষ্য পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে শিক্ষার প্রসার ঘটানো।এই Scholarship/স্কিমের মাধ্যমে বিদ্যালয়ে Drop out এর ঘটনাগুলি হ্রাস করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে।

Important Documents for Sikshashree Scholarship

নিম্ন লিখিত ডকুমেন্টগুলি Sikshashree Scholarship এর জন্য শিক্ষার্থীকে বিদ্যালয়ে জমা করতে হবে।

(1) 1-Copy Photo, Passport Size, Colour
(2) Copy of Identity Card
(3) Copy of Slip/Roshid of Admission
(4) Copy of SC/ST Caste Certificate of the Applicant
(5) Copy of Birth Certificate
(7) Copy of Aadhar Card
(8) Original Family Income Certificate
(9) Copy of Bank Account 
(Bank Pass Book এর প্রথম পৃষ্ঠার Photocopy/জেরক্স, যেখানে স্পষ্টভাবে উল্লেখ থাকবে Bank Name, Branch Name, Address of the Bank, Account Number, Applicant/Candidate Name এবং  Bank IFSC )

Sikshashree Scholarship এর পরিমাণ প্রতি শিক্ষার্থীকে প্রতি বছর দেওয়া হবে, নিম্নলিখিত সিডিউল অনুযায়ী -

Eligibility criteria of the Applicant/Candidate for Sikshashree Scholarship

(i) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।
(ii) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই রাজ্যের SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত হতে হবে।
(iii) পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কেবল Day Scholars-রাই এই Sikshashree Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
(iv) Applicant/Candidate এর বার্ষিক পারিবারিক আয় অবশ্যই 2.5 (Annual Income) লাখের বেশি হবে না।
(v) আবেদনকারীর Bank Account টি অবশ্যই Nationalised Bank হতে হবে। 
(vi) আবেদনকারী একই সাথে অন্য কোনও Scholarship অথবা Stipend পাবেন না।অর্থাৎ Sikshashree Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করলে আর অন্য কোন Scholarship/ Stipend এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবে না।
(vii) আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই Regular Full time Student হতে হবে এবং অবশ্যই একটি সরকারী বিদ্যালয় বা সরকারী সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত বিদ্যালয় এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের সরকারী স্বীকৃত বিদ্যালয়গুলিতে পাঠরত হতে হবে।

Offline Application for Sikshashree Scholarship

এই Sikshashree Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করতে চাইলে V থেকে VIII শ্রেণির SC (Schedule Caste) এবং ST (Schedule Tribe) শিক্ষার্থীরা Offline এর মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে পারবে। Offline এ আবেদন করলে তাদের আর Online এ আবেদন করতে হবে না। Offline এ আবেদন করার জন্য শিক্ষার্থীকে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিদ্যালয়ে তার Document গুলি জমা দিতে হবে।স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ Offline Form টি পূরণ করবেন এবং Document গুলি Upload করবেন।

Online Application for Sikshashree Scholarship

স্কুল যোগ্য Applicant/Candidate এর কাছ থেকে সমস্ত Document গুলি সংগ্রহ করবে।তারপর স্কুলকর্তৃপক্ষ Applicant/Candidate এর Offline Application Form টি পূরণ করবে। সকলের সুবিধার্থে, Offline Application Form টি কীভাবে পূরণ করতে হবে সেটি Step by Step এখানে দেখানো হল।Sikshashree Scholarship এর জন্য আবেদন করতে চাইলে নিম্নের পদক্ষেপগুলি অনুসরণ করুন-

(A)প্রথমে Backward Classes Welfare Department এর Official website এ যান। 
(B) এখন দেখুন ‘Sikshashree Scholarship Application’আছে , এখানে ক্লিক করুন। 
(C) Login হওয়ার পর  নিম্নলিখিত তথ্যগুলি fill-up করুন -
(i) Select "User Type"
(ii)Select "District"
(iii) Select "Sub-Division"
(iv) Select "Block/ Municipality"
(v) Then Select "School"
(vi) Now type "User ID"
(vii) Type "Password"
(viii) Put the "Captcha" shown above in the specified box.

(D)Now click on "Login" button
(E)You will be directed to "Dashboard"
(F) বাম দিকে আপনি দেখতে পাবেন “Applications” এখানে ক্লিক করুন। 
(G) তারপর  “All Applications List” উপর ক্লিক করুন। 
(H) একটা নতুন Page খুলবে। Page এর উপরের বাম দিকে "Fresh Application" দেখতে পাবেন।এটিতে ক্লিক করুন।
(I) খুব ভালোভাবে /সাবধানতার সাথে "Fresh Application Form" টি পূরণ করুন।
(J) সম্পূর্ণ Application Form টি পূরণ হয়ে গেলে, নির্দিষ্ট বাক্সে "Captcha" টাইপ করুন। 
(K) তারপর "Submit" বোতামে ক্লিক করুন।

Last Date of Application For Sikshashree Scholarship

Sikshashree Scholarship জন্য আবেদনের Online ও Offline প্রক্রিয়া গত 10-ই মে 2021, সন্ধ্যা 6:00 টা থেকে শুরু হয়েছে।আবেদন গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়া চালু থাকবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সকল জেলাতে। Academic session 2021-2022 এর Online Application এর শেষ তারিখটি এখনও জানানো হয়নি।আগের বছরের শেষ তারিখ ছিলো 05.10.2020.

This is to inform you that Shikshashree Scholarship portal for the academic session 2021-2022 has been opened.

In view of the above, you are requested to renew the application of the beneficiaries of previous year, if he/she has been promoted and studying in the same school.

Further, new entry of students for Shikshashree Scholarship, from class V to VIII may be done, as and when the school is reopened.

Apropos above, this is to inform you that the 'Sikshashree' portal has been opened, in this respect you are requested to upload the status of eligible Schedule Castes (SC) and Schedule Tribes (ST) students of your Institution for Classes V to VIII for the year 2021-2022. Timely action from your end will enable us to disburse scholarships to the deserving students in time.

You are also requested to complete the data entry in respect of 'Sikshashree' scholarship to eligible Schedule Castes (SC) and Schedule Tribes (ST) students for the year 2021-2022 at the earliest and after completion the data entry a 'Non-availability Certificate' to be issued from your end and the same is to be sent to this office through the concerned Block Development Officer.

Important Instruction for Shikshashree 2021-2022 

Online and offline data entry are started from 10th May 2021 at 06: 00 pm for all the districts. Application ID is mandatory for any type of changes required. So, while emailing please ensure that the Application ID of the student is correctly given and in case of changes more than one, the change request must be in Word or Excel format.
