Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) 2026 --Publication of Results
The WBBSE (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education) is glad to announce that the results of the Madhyamik Priksha (Secondary Education) 2026 will be published on 08th May 2026 (Friday). Further details shall be intimated in due course.
All examinees are advised to remain in touch only with the official communications of the Board for timely updates regarding result access and related instructions.
This press release is being issued in the interest of students and schools to ensure timely dissemination of information and distribution of results on the same day of declaration of results from respective schools.

This is information of all concerned that the Results of Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Education) 2026 will be announced by the President, Ad-hoc Committee, WBBSE on 8th May 2026 at 09:30 A.M through a Press Conference.
The result will be available on the following websites from 10:15 AM on 08.05.2026. Schools will get the Marksheets and Certificates from respective Camp Offices of the Board from 10:30 AM on 08.05.2026. Notification No. DS(C)/076/26 Dated 30.04.2026 may kindly be seen for details camp office list.

Distribution of Marksheet & Certificate of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) 2026 and Registration Certificates of Class IX (2025)
NOTIFICATION
This is to inform you that the distribution of Marksheet and Certificate of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) 2026 will be conducted on 08.05.2026 from 10.30 A.M. onwards through the respective Camp Offices. Head of the Institution or his/her authorized person may collect the same from the Camp Office along with filled EMU/C/1G for submission.
Additionally, the Registration Certificates of Class IX (2025) for those candidates who applied during the last window of online registration (from 25.02.2026 to 07.03.2026) will also be distributed on the same day.
To receive the Registration Certificates, schools are requested to submit the Printed copy of Registration Report along with the remitted Bank Challan or printout of the online transaction slip at the respective Camp Offices.
The Schools under the Camp Offices of Howrah Sadar, Kakdwip, Basirhat, Barasat, Raghunathpur, and Chanchal are requested to collect the documents from the following designated Camp Offices:

Notification
This is to notify to all Recognised X-Class Institution under West Bengal of Secondary Education that as per previous year the application for Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) of written answer scripts of Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.) 2026 will be collected through online. For the purpose the website www.wbbsedata.com is to be verified.
All the Heads of the Institutions are requested to open the URL https://website www.wbbsedata.com on and from 04:00 PM 08.05.2026 and follow the ''Instruction'' tab for details of login and application process.
Please Note
(i) All successful candidates may apply for PPS (Fees Rs.80/- (eight) only per subject ).
(ii) All unsuccessful candidates may apply for PPR (Fees Rs.100/- (one hundred) only per subject ).
(iii) The school may charge Rs.2/- (two) in cash per candidate only to meet the incidental expenses (if necessary)
(iv) Candidates seeking PPS/PPR shall submit his/her payer for PPS/PPR as the case may be, to the Head of the Institution in which he/she belongs, on plain paper stating clearly his/her Name, Roll No, Subject(s) for which PPS/PPR is sought for along with the photocopy of the Marksheet and the prescribed fees (in cash).
(v) In case of PPR the particular answer script(s) will be assessed but the scope of PPS is confined to scrutiny and re-totaling only.
(vi) Board shall not accept any application in Manual Form for PPR and PPS.
(vii) Board shall not accept any online application from individual candidate(s).
(viii) The entire application process, through online, shall be done by the School only.
(ix) The website will function till 05:00 PM on 17.05.2026, No application shall be entertained after that.

Instruction of Scrutiny (PPS) and Review (PPR) of Madhyamik Pariksha 2026

Step-1
Go to the URL: https://www.wbbsedata.com to access the Post Publication Review (PPR)/ Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) application portal.
Step-2
Once you get the Home page, click on the Login Page to login into your school dashboard.
Step-3
On this page, in the username field please enter your school Index where the alpha would be in capital letter and the index would be without any hyphen or spaces. (for example -“D3014”). In the Password field enter the default Password as “Password” all in small letters without any spaces and click on the login button. When you are logging in for the 1 st time this would redirect you to the school profile page.
Step-4
On this page please enter the details as required i.e. the Headmaster's (H.M.) name or the Teacher in charge's name, email address and mobile number. If the Board finds any anomaly in the school profile data, the board can call the school authorities for further clarification. On filling up the data, click on the save button which would redirect you to the reset password page.
User profile page : (only for the 1st time login )
On this page please enter, the old password provided i.e. “Password” which was provided to you and in the next fields enter your new password. The new password should be a combination of alpha-numeric characters and should be at least 8 characters. Now click on the reset Password button. This new Password would be used from next login. On clicking the reset password, this would redirect you to your school dashboard.
Change password : (only for the 1st time login )
Step-5
The dashboard shows a list of candidates of your school who have appeared for M.P. (S.E.) 2026 with their Roll numbers and name and if they have passed then a PPS button is shown else a PPR button is shown. On clicking the PPR/PPS button the detailed page of the candidate opens up for subject selection.
The candidates can be searched through the search bar given on top by entering the Roll No where the “N” in the Roll No number would be in capital and the entire roll number would be without any spaces or any special characters. A sample search is shown below.
Step-6
Now as stated above on clicking the PPR/PPS button the student detail page opens up.
Here to select the subject, you have to click on the check boxes corresponding to the subject, and a tick mark appears on clicking. If by mistake a wrong subject has been selected, then by clicking again on the check box the tick mark goes off.
After selecting the subjects, click on the "Submit" button.
Step-7
After all the PPR/PPS applications are made for the required candidates, click on the submit final data button at the bottom of the dashboard page.
On clicking the final submit button all the data would be locked and no further changes can be made. So recheck your data before the final submission.
On clicking the submit final data button , you are redirected to the school summary page.
Step-8
Here all the PPR/PPS applications are shown along with the amount. Below that you find a Download Report button. On clicking this a summarized report for the school is generated in a Pdf for your record.
Now click on the "Proceed" button to download Challan.
Step-9
Here at the top of the page there is a section to download PPR/PPS Application fees payment Challan. Out of the two buttons, One is "SBI", if you want to deposit fees in any SBI branch and second is "Other than SBI" if you want to deposit fees in any bank other than SBI. On clicking the button a corresponding challan is downloaded. Print the challan and deposit the fees in a bank of your choice.
After the deposit is made, scan the "Stamped Challan" in PDF or JPEG format and the size of the file should not be more than 200 KB.
Step-10
Once you are ready with the scanned Challan, in the lower section on the same page enter the Deposited Amount, Date of deposit, and the correct Transaction / UTR ID provided by the bank, select the scanned copy of the Challan to be uploaded by clicking the Choose File button. Now click on the checkbox below and press the submit button. Once you press this submit button, your final submission is completed and you are redirected to the dashboard which shows a success message.
Step 11
N.B. once the summary of the school is generated, the data cannot be changed any further. No more changes are allowed.
Special Instructions
1. No Application would be accepted after 17th May, 2026.
2. In case you forget the password, contact the Board authorities for a password reset.
3. Without proper uploaded Challan and the transaction id, the application for the school would not be accepted.

Important notes of RTI for Madhyamik 2026
Stipulated fulfilling Conditions for application for certified copy of Answer Script
of Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.) 2026
1. Your Application must reach the respective Regional Office of the Board Office within 75 days from the date of publication of result of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) 2026 i.e. within 22nd July 2026 failing which your application shall not be entertained.
2. Self attested photo copy of Mark-sheet must be attached with the application along with phone number.
3. Only certified copy of Answer Script (s), as prayed for, under RTI Act, 2005 will be handed over to the candidate or his /her natural or legal guardian showing proper documents of identification/ authorization letter of the candidate. No other person will be allowed to obtain certified copy of Answer Script(s).
4. For supply of certified copy of Answer Script(s), a photocopy charge of Rs.2.00 (Two rupees) only as processing fees shall be applicable per page as per RTI Rule. It must be deposited by the candidate concerned against the receipt of Challan at the respective Regional Office of the Board. Challan will be supplied by the concerned Regional Office.
5. The application will be informed the date and time of Collection of Certified Copy of written Answer Script(s) by Post/Phone/Email.
6. If an applicant has applied for Scrutiny (PPS) / Review (PPR), the RTI application for Certified Copies shall be done just after the publication of PPS/ PPR result only.
7. The Application under RTI Act, 2005 is only to collect Certified Copies of written Answer Script(s). There is no connection of re-evaluation with the Application under RTI Act, 2005.
8. The applications for certified copies of answer scripts made under RTI Act 2005 will be rejected if there are no court fees and /or full signature and/or complete postal address of the applicant along with contact number.
9. No application fees is requested for the candidate who belongs to BPL category as per RTI Act, 2005. In that case self-attested photocopy of supporting certificate must be attached with his / her application.
10. On receipt of prayer regarding any wrong total / wrong caging / unmarked answer, if detected, the same shall be rectified without any extra charge, if applied for within 15 days from the date of receipt of their certified copy of Answer Script(s) and not beyond the stipulated period, under any circumstances, i.e. applications received after 31st July 2025, shall not be considered.
